WorldNet TPS was founded in late 2005 by a group of IT specialists with specific expertise in the Credit Card Payment arena. The company developed a software based Host Solution (the NetTraxion™ Host), to provide a single source for sophisticated, robust, highly scaleable Payment & Transaction Processing services based on the latest IP technology and architecture, and supporting multi-lingual and multi-currency processing capabilities.

In March 2007, the current promoters Adella Holdings Ltd purchased the company in its entirety from the original shareholders.

Since the buyout, WorldNet TPS has already achieved significant product and service differentiation with the delivery of eDCC, certification to the International processing platform of Elavon Merchant Services (formerly euroConex) and the ability to support multi-currency processing and multi-lingual support services. This enhancement process will continue with the development of further value added services including fraud management, VAT refund and Gift Card processing.

WorldNet TPS provides a fully encrypted processing solution that is secured end to end, even if the transactions take place over public broadband infrastructure. WorldNet TPS is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and has made enhanced security central to its service.
